Khosrow Khosravani
Khosrow “Koz” Khosravani has been involved in the field of Information Technology for over three decades. He began his career as a Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation (later merged with Compaq), coding VAX-Macro assembly language for VAX mini-computer clusters. Koz then worked with numerous firms as an IT consultant and trainer, specializing in software engineering, e-business security & back-end integration, distributed relational database management systems, wireless technologies, networking, web development, and distributed applications. He has trained hundreds of employees at major US firms, including Boeing and Raytheon, in web development, online security, software engineering, and integration with back-end systems such as Microsoft IIS web server, SQL server, Site Server, and BizTalk server on the Windows advanced server platform.
Koz is currently conducting research and offering online workshops on various aspects of digital transformation utilizing frontier and emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, AR/VR, and Cloud Computing. He was a keynote speaker at UCLA's 75th anniversary convocation, representing graduate and professional students in front of the President of the United States and other dignitaries, addressing an audience of 14,000.
The Los Angeles Chargers honored Khosrow "Koz" Khosravani as their Hometown Hero at SoFi Stadium, recognizing his bravery in rescuing a woman who was lost at sea for 12 hours, in front of an audience of 70,000.
