UCLA Store Online - Access via Canvas

To easily access textbooks and assigned readings through the UCLA Store Online, log into your UCLA Extension Canvas account. Students have access to their course in Canvas two (2) days before the course starts. In the Canvas menu, click on the following:

  • UCLA Store Course Materials: Students can view, review, and purchase all assigned textbooks. Students can select the format that best suits their learning. All materials are offered at reduced pricing exclusively for UCLA Extension students.
  • UCLA Course Reader Solutions: Students can view, review, and purchase all assigned readings that are segments of entire books. If an instructor assigns readings that are only a portion of a book, students can save money by purchasing only the needed segment. Assigned articles from publications and the instructor's own writings can also be found through this link.

Students may also access required textbooks in advance through the UCLA Extension or UCLA Store websites:

  • UCLA Extension Website: Locate your course section on our website and select "See Details." Required textbooks will be hyperlinked under "Course Requirements."
  • UCLA Store Website: Go directly to the UCLA Store Textbooks page. Under "Others," select UCLA Extension and search by individual course (have your course number handy).
