Ravindar Singh
Ravindar Singh is a San Francisco-based interior designer and educator. Prior to his start in the design industry, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Jose State University. Mr. Singh attended the ARC-ID program through UCLA Extension and completed the program by attaining his Master’s of Interior Architecture Degree from California State Polytechnic Pomona. He worked for San Francisco-based interior designer Mead Quin on high end residential projects before landing a position at Jacobs, a leading engineering and architecture firm. His primary scope of work involves designing for Federal and Environmental Solutions with the Department of Defense for Naval Facilities in the Southwest region. He also engages in the design of public infrastructures that carry out sustainability standards. With a strong focus on Federal projects, Mr. Singh ’s design experience spans across the public and private sectors developing spaces that not only support the prosperity of his clients’ businesses but also elevate their brands through experiential and immersive design strategies. His projects include an aircraft maintenance hanger station in Lemoore, Ca; transportation station in Seattle, WA; aircraft rescue fire station in El Centro, Ca; naval air station in China Lake, Ca and naval air station in Coronado, Ca.
As a proud alumni of the ARC-ID and MIA program, Mr. Singh hopes to connect with his students on a fundamental level and share his knowledge and passion for design through seminars and workshops to students who reside locally and internationally. He maintains working full time at Jacobs while teaching at UCLA Extension.
