Rebecca Gawron
Rebecca Gawron, AIA is a practicing Architect at Moore Ruble Yudell Architects + Planners in Santa Monica, CA. She holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, with concentrations in philosophy, sociology and material studies.
Ms. Gawron has practiced in Los Angeles, Austin and New York at award-winning offices such as Baldridge Architects and Walker Workshop. Her graduate program selected her for an internship at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects where she helped to develop the Obama Presidential Library. She has worked on a host of residential projects at various scales such as the Independent Austin and the East Austin Hotel (Rhode Partners) but returned to her passion for civic and educational design under MRY.
Ms. Gawron's goals include establishing her own architecture studio, teaching undergraduate design and publishing written works. Among her awards and publications is Architect Magazine’s 2018 Studio Prize.
