Canvas

UCLA Extension utilizes an online learning management system called Canvas. Within Canvas you can interact with your instructor and peers, find course materials, activities, assignments, quizzes, and more. Some courses also use Zoom to conduct scheduled, live-online class sessions.

If the course(s) you enrolled in uses Canvas, course content will be made accessible online through the Canvas platform beginning 2 days before the course start date (after 1:00 AM PT) until 30 days after the course end date listed in the syllabus (the first 14 days are full access; the rest are read-only).

You should receive an email when you may access Canvas, typically within 3 hours of completing registration, with steps to log in or request a password.

For best performance, Canvas should be used on an up-to-date version Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.
