Lauren Stienstra

Lauren Stienstra, M.Sc., CEM- Lauren works for the Arlington County Office of Emergency Management as the Deputy Coordinator for Training and Exercise. The majority of her projects further the initiatives of the County through partnerships with County operational departments, private sector partners, and community organizations. She has facilitated emergency coordination for a range of incidents- from small scale hazardous materials spills to the 56th Presidential Inauguration. She has received awards from the Phi Delta Gamma Endowment, the American Association of University Women, and the Virginia Emergency Management Agency for academic performance, professional leadership, and commitment to the field of emergency management.
