Parviz Saghizadeh
Dr. Parviz Saghizadeh has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry. He has worked at Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon where he has led numerous multi-million dollar projects for department of defense and commercial entities. He has overseen projects consisting of conglomerate cooperation between startup to large companies, universities and government agencies, each having their own unique corporate culture and style. Such organizations include DARPA, IARPA, Navy, Army, Air force, and industry leaders Boeing, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems, Aerospace Corporation, Altera, Cadence, and leading educational institutes like UCLA, USC, MIT, Georgia Tech, UTA, UCB and many more. He is an engineering fellow and has authored or co-authored numerous publications and disclosures and has a number of patents to his credit.
Dr. Saghizadeh has developed a number of undergraduate and graduate level courses. In addition to teaching at Raytheon, he has also been a lecturer at California State University at Long Beach (CSULB).
Dr. Saghizadeh received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Drexel University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
