Lovett Goode
Lovett has worked for some of the largest international insurance brokerage firms based in Los Angeles, California. She brings with her over 25 years of expertise in strategic planning, risk management, health cost management, employee benefits administration, and managing self-funded and fully insured plans. Professional licenses held include Life & Disability and Property & Casualty.
Some of Lovett’s career expertise includes: designing customized client solutions to unique client challenges, assisting benefit negotiations with mergers, unions, as well as spin-off companies, carrier dialogue, consideration, and implementation of new joint venture projects, executive benefit programs integrated with group benefits, retiree and senior benefit planning, special risk arrangements for high-profile clients, and diverse and detailed knowledge of health care benefits for health care providers, including customized funding programs.
Ms. Goode is an alumnus of Boston University. She received a citation from the State of Massachusetts Legislative Human Resources Committee for her work and dedication as a Legislative Assistant. Lovett received her Personal Financial Planning designation (PFP) from UCLA Extension and is currently an instructor for the Insurance & Risk Management course in the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Certificate Program.
She is an active member of the Employee Benefits Planning Association (EBPA) and the Board of Directors for the Center for Health Care Rights (CHCR), serving Medicare beneficiaries in Los Angeles County.
