Art of Protesting

Through two 3 hour class lectures students will learn about a varied history of protest art and create art themselves through demonstrations, lectures, and critiques.

- Engage in discussions about selected works of protest art, their meaning, and the artist's point of view
- Apply what you've learnd to create your own protest art or a sign
About this course:
Throughout history, art has been used to advocate for political movements and provoke social action. Through two 3 hour class lectures students will learn about a varied history of protest art and create art themselves through demonstrations, lectures, and critiques. Participants will also use illustration and collage, and other creative techniques to develop protest signs to express social issues.Corporate Education
