Students will find an early childhood care and education site prior to starting the course and commit to two 3-hour shifts per week in the classroom. The classroom mentor teacher must hold an ECE permit at the Associate Teacher level or above. Sites should demonstrate a commitment to developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate practice, as well as to collaborative relationships with families/guardians.
