About this course:
This course is for advanced photographers who want to expand their knowledge of the photographic process through weekly collaborative group critiques. Students will discuss their perceptions, interpretations, and ideas in a safe and productive environment. By learning how to verbalize ideas, student will deepen their understanding of themselves as artists. Students will practice and refine their conceptual and technical skills through weekly individualized projects designed around their unique talents and goals. Ultimately, students will refine their voice and vision as a photographer, as well as learn if their ideas translate to a broader audience.
Prerequisites
ART X 439.90 Photography II or equivalent knowledge. Students must be comfortable in a learning environment that emphasizes conceptual critique rather than technical guidance.
