About This Course
How do you create a narrative series, sell it, get it produced, and retain your vision throughout the creative process - without going insane and mortgaging your soul? In this course you uncover methods to preserve your sanity, (almost) but additionally you demystify the role of the showrunner, who is the lead producer/writer on a television or digital series. This is the pivotal position responsible for the creative vision along with the business and logistical aspects of production. Through discussion, case studies, and practical insights, you explore the multifaceted responsibilities and strategic decision-making which shape the success of a TV series.
