About this course:

Storytelling can be challenging, and developing meaningful structure is an essential underlying component, no matter the medium. This course guides you to master the rhythmic nature of scenes — and the larger narratives in which these scenes live — through practice exercises and critical feedback. You analyze memorable story-arcs and scenes from selected features, shorts, made-for-TV movies, limited-series and individual TV episodes to craft “Structure Charts/Lists,” which are simple documents that can provide profound creative insights into building satisfying plots and scenes. This industry-standard, story-structure tool can help you unlock deep links between events in stories you’re passionate to write for film or television.
