About This Course
Traits commonly associated with ADHD often fuel creative thinking by fostering divergent thought, novel idea generation, and unique perspectives, leading to strengths in artistic endeavors, problem-solving, and innovation. In this course, we explore the lives and working habits of figures such as Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, George Lucas, and Caravaggio, observing how nonlinear thinking, emotional intensity, and impulsive creativity shaped their contributions to culture. We analyze the relationship between temperament and creative output and discuss how cognitive patterns can drive innovation, artistic risk-taking, and unconventional problem-solving, while also creating personal and professional challenges. This course uses the Hybrid format which allows students to participate remotely and/or in the classroom. This course will be recorded. Students will have access to videos for 30 days.
