What you can learn.

  • Understand the use and selection of commonly used irrigation equipment and installation procedures for a complete irrigation system
  • Comprehend and be able to apply a systematic methodology toward the design of small-, medium-, and large-scale irrigation systems
  • Understand and use common symbols, graphic representations, and calculations used in the preparation of irrigation plans
  • Understand the principles of water conservation, the correct use of drip, and other low application rate systems and smart control technology

Prerequisites
ARCH X 472.12A Grading and Drainage, ARCH X472.5 Landscape Design 5: Planting Design, and ARCH X 493.6 AutoCAD 2.
