Xi (Cecilia) Zhang

Cecilia Zhang has over 10 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, and data management, with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring. As Associate Director of Data Science at UCLA’s Office of Analytics and Institutional Research, she leads initiatives that drive strategic decision-making through machine learning, predictive modeling, and interactive dashboards. Cecilia has extensive experience with SQL across multiple platforms and oversees database administration for both on-premises and cloud environments such as AWS. She has taught undergraduate courses and supported UCLA’s Statistics Department in the statistical consulting course.
