Veronica Ortiz
A lifelong educator, Veronica completed her doctoral work at Claremont Graduate University, where she also conducted grant writing for the Indian Hill Research Institute. She is an active member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), and the International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC).
Throughout her career, Veronica has delivered presentations on a range of topics related to international student support and funding opportunities for college-bound students. In addition to serving as a longtime instructor at UCLA, she most recently led international student recruitment and enrollment efforts at Whitman College. In that role, she also supervised admission officers and provided strategic consultation on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Veronica has held admissions roles at various institutions and remains a passionate advocate for liberal arts education. She continues to support students through the college application process as a dedicated volunteer and independent educational consultant.
