Samuel Luby

Mr. Luby has been working in a variety of roles within the college counseling and admissions field for a decade. After working for the college counseling software company Naviance in the U.S., he moved to China in 2017 to become a college counselor for both educational organizations and secondary schools. 

Most recently, he was the head of University Guidance Counseling for a selective IB high school in Shanghai. In addition, Mr. Luby has been an admissions reader for both UC San Diego and UC Berkeley. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at Florida State University studying higher education and continuing his own independent college counseling services. 

Sam is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) and a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). He holds an MA in International Education from Concordia University-Irvine and a BA in History from Gustavus College.
