Instructor Statement: Storytelling is an essential part of our lives. Whether in a job interview, a first date, around a dinner table- it's how we connect, how we find community, how we grow, how we learn. I teach the art of storytelling - in journalism, and in entertainment but these essential skills transcend specific careers. I believe strongly that everyone can learn the invaluable art of storytelling and will gain something from it, whether they choose to go into the arts or not. Loglines, pitching, treatments, bibles, pilots - we'll touch on everything, forming connections and friendships along the way.
