Paola Amaro Alvarez

Paola has over 30 years of experience in the Human Resources field, primarily in the Hospitality and Supply Chain industries, with companies such as Marriott International, Inc., The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, and Reyes Holdings, LLC. She has also held senior roles, including CHRO, Head of HR and Region, in the Real Estate, Retail, and Education sectors.

She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Paola earned her M.S. in Adult Learning and Human Resources Development from Virginia Tech and holds a Spanish/English Translation Certificate from the Foreign Language Department at George Mason University. She received her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from The George Washington University.

Paola teaches Human Resources courses at UCLA Extension and Claremont Graduate University. She holds two HR certifications: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and California Certification. She recently earned a Professional and Executive Coach Certification (ACPEC) from the College of Executive Coaching and holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation.
