Jonathan Panossian
As a Professor at Pierce College since Spring 2014, I have taught Business Law, focusing on fundamental concepts such as the Constitution, ethics, tort law, contractual agreements, and corporate social responsibility. My approach is student-centered, utilizing case studies and real-life examples to ensure that students can translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications. My professional experience includes roles such as Attorney at Arroyo Law Group, LLP, and Shareholder/Attorney at my own practice, where I provided legal counsel on intellectual property, corporate structure, litigation, and real estate matters. This diverse experience has honed my ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively, a skill that is essential for teaching financial planning principles. I am proficient in the use of various educational technologies and platforms, including the Canvas Learning Management System, which will allow me to seamlessly integrate into the online or hybrid teaching formats required by UCLA Extension. Additionally, my dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment aligns with UCLA Extension’s commitment to Access, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (AEDI).
