JM Gibis

JM Gibis is a seasoned Program Management Office (PMO) leader with over 25 years of experience driving project, program, and portfolio management excellence across diverse organizations. She currently serves as the Director of PMO at AEG Worldwide. Previously, JM held key leadership roles, including Senior Director of Portfolio Management at NBCUniversal for 11 years, Vice President of Project Management at Grindr, Director of Project Management at Lunchbox (now Mirum Shopper), and Senior Manager of Program Management at First American Corporation, Pcubed, and Publicis Sapient.

Since March 2020, JM has been a dedicated instructor at UCLA Extension, teaching the Fundamentals of Project Management, a core course for the Project Management Certificate. She has been an advisory board member for UCLA’s project management program since 2013 and received the prestigious UCLA Extension Distinguished Instructor Award in 2023. In 2009, JM was elected President of the Project Management Institute, Los Angeles Chapter, where she served a one-year term, fostering growth and innovation in the project management community.

JM holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Rhode Island. She is a certified SAFe 6 Agilist (SA)®, Project Management Professional (PMP)®, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)®. Additionally, she holds a California Real Estate Salesperson license. Beyond her professional achievements, JM is committed to giving back, serving on the Associates Board of City Year Los Angeles (AmeriCorps) since 2021.
