Instructor Biography:

M.F.A., author and screenwriter who writes screenplays and develops story ideas for Jarrett Creative Group. Her credits include The Preacher’s Daughter for Lifetime and Killision Course, an Oxygen true-crime series.

Instructor Statement:

As a writer, you have so many stories within you to tell. You turn to story to express yourself and make sense of the world. Through story, you create empathy and connect people. Your stories reflect culture and can affect culture. I want to help you get your most authentic voice out there. My goal is to guide you to successfully transfer the stories within you to the page—so you can share your stories with the world and be heard. We’ll focus on how to make the strongest possible choices for your character, structure, plot, setting and narrative voice. Together, we’ll tackle this lofty notion of “story” boldly and bravely, and with respect and humor, we’ll strive toward bringing your stories to life.
