Charlotte Klaar

Charlotte M Klaar, Ph.D., CEP is Director of Klaar College Consulting. She works virtually with students in the United States and its territories and in person with those in the Greater Charlotte North Carolina area. Dr. Klaar began her educational consulting practice in 1995 focused on college planning without the angst. She has taught many others the ins-and-outs of the business aspects of the profession for UCLA and IECA. Dr. Klaar has served on the IECA Board of Directors and has been an active member of that organization since 1995. She taught at IECA's Summer Training Institute (formerly Practices and Principles Workshop) for more than 12 years and at the Transitioning to Private Practice Workshop which IECA offers prior to the NACAC conference each year. She is a Certified Educational Planner and a lifelong learner whose first goal is to simplify the college process for students. Her second goal is to train ethical and caring IECs.
