Benjamin Winjum

Benjamin Winjum received his B. S. degree in Physics from Penn State University and M.S. and Ph. D. degrees also in Physics from UCLA. Currently, he is a Computational and Data Science Research Specialist at UCLA Institute for Digital Research and Education. Previously he was a Post Doc at UCLA as well as a researcher at the Lawrence Livermore National Labs. Since 2006, he has been a workshop instructor at UCLA Institute for Digital Research and Education where he has developed and taught courses in Data Visualization with Python, Exploring Data and Machine Learning with Interactive Python Tools, Using SQL with Python for Data Analysis, and intro to Jupyter.
