Anna Henry
Anna Henry began her 20-year career as a development executive at Nickelodeon, working on the development and production of animated television series, pilots and features. She crossed over to prime-time television working at CBS and ABC in drama development and programming, then served as a creative consultant for a number of production companies and as Director of Development at a boutique literary management and production company. She is a sought-after script consultant whose clients have worked on shows at virtually every broadcast, cable and streaming television network, and have set up projects at Amazon Prime, Starz, HBO, AMC, Sony, Fox, EOne, Corus, and others. Anna is an independent producer through her company, Idle Hour Entertainment, where she most recently set up a series as a German-Canadian co-production, and focuses on international and diversity (female, POC, LGBTQ+) writers and stories. She is an instructor for Netflix and Stage 32’s Creating Content for the Global Marketplace Program, where her numerous webinars and classes have a global audience in the tens of thousands. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Screenwriting at Loyola University Chicago. Born in Hungary, Anna is a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and holds a certificate from the University of Paris Sorbonne. She resides in Los Angeles with her two sons.
