For over 10 years, Angela has taught LARE review workshops, and mentored many candidates to success. She has been on the national ASLA LARE Prep Committee, and teaches LARE prep courses at ASLA annual conferences.
Angela is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years’ experience practicing landscape architecture in California and Arizona.
Construction observation is one of her fortes, and she is often the only woman on a project site. Her experience covers a wide range of public and private projects including: universities, college campuses, elementary schools, streetscapes, Caltrans highways, transit-oriented development, Metrolink train stations, multi-modal bus rapid transit stations, parks, recreation trails, military base reuse, ecosystem restoration, habitat mitigation, public safety facilities, sustainable development and learning resource centers.
Extending her passion for landscape architecture, Angela Woodward is also an educator. She mentors the next generation of emerging professionals to obtain their license by teaching Landscape Architecture Registration Exam (LARE) review workshops. She has been teaching and sharing her expertise for ten years at both UCLA Extension and ASLA Conferences.
