About this course:

Watercolor painting is an opportunity to embrace qualities such as curiosity, creativity, playfulness and a sense of wonder. In this course designed for beginners, sketching and painting are approached as a process and practice, rather than as a performance or attempt at perfection. Student learn the materials, techniques and vocabulary of watercolor painting, and draw and paint daily in our sketchbook. Exercises include observational study with props, still-life, photos and perhaps landscapes emphasizing shape, form, value and color.
