AI-Powered Software Development

This course prepares students for the next generation of software development by teaching them how to design, build, test, secure, deploy, and manage software through AI-assisted workflows. Rather than focusing primarily on writing code manually, students learn how to translate business requirements into AI-executable specifications, orchestrate AI development agents, evaluate AI-generated solutions, and ensure software quality, security, privacy, and compliance.

The course is intentionally structured around approximately 40% software creation and 60% AI-driven development management, reflecting the growing importance of product thinking, architecture, governance, validation, cybersecurity, and human-AI collaboration in modern software engineering.
By the end of the course, students will build and deploy a functioning application using AI- powered development tools while demonstrating mastery of secure AI-assisted development practices.
