Instructor Statement:
Being a literary agent takes more than being a fan of books. It’s an apprenticeship industry where you learn by doing. Under the right mentorship, you can understand the market, build the right connections, and learn not just how to make sales, but to help your clients navigate their career. Loving the power of the written word is a start, though, and I consider myself the bridge between that initial stirring to the reality of turning that passion into a career. I’m here to demystify the process of what an agent does and how they do it, and I look forward to going on the journey with you.
